What is that??

I've been hearing that question a lot. Fascinated by the late August-Early-September light, I started a new series of photographs. This is probably my favourite time of the year, when the light, just for a few weeks, turns golden and creates beautiful, long shadows. The idea of depicting light and the abstract shapes and colours that it creates, came to me in late June, when I realised, I was getting tired of moody, black and white, high contrast stuff that I usually do. I like abstract. Good abstract isn't bad, plus it makes you wonder - what is that?? More to come.

What floats?

I don't think I have ever been behind with writing as much as I am now. I guess it comes in waves like inspiration or missing your ex. The last few months have been all about photography, and it made me incredibly restless and terribly happy. Late Tuesday nights at the the studio, setting up the lamps trying, endlessly to deal with Rembrandt light. In April I had my friends come out to White Plains and we did a photo-shoot, which results you can see above. It was a wonderful morning, filled with coffee, gypsy music and well, hard work. Many thanks to Gabbi, Kyle, Tyler and Daniel for letting me make them jump till they dropped. 

Looks like the summer is kicking in as well, you'll be hearing from me more often, have a good weekend everyone!
